Stitching the community together

I was able to get a few hours to myself on Monday evening and slipped away to a new Knit and Natter night that has been set up in Willow Tea House in Wirral. Although it was only the second scheduled date, the place was packed with local crafty types, representing many aspects of textiles and papercrafts.

I spent a lovely evening, knitting, chatting and eating great cake. It was fabulous to see what talents and interests there are in the local community, and many people were keen to share and inspire the others present. The only downside to such a great get-together is that I was tempted to try a few new crafts. Given that there aren't 25 hours in every day, I may just have to cut back on sleep and other non-essentials tasks!

The next get-together will be held on Monday 6th February at 7pm.
