2012 was the year when...

...I completed 14 knit projects and 14 sewn projects. (I've updated my "competed projects" page, and just realised there is one sewing project unblogged so I will get on to that this week.) That is a lot more than I thought it would be, and also it is a lot more balanced between the two crafts than I thought it would be.

...I tried to find some TNT patterns. I sewed Vogue 8584 three times and Colette Patterns Lily dress three times.

...I knitted projects to complement my sewing  - I made the Miette cardigan to wear with my Liberty Lily dress and the Waveline shawl to wear wear with my Lily Rose dress . The end result was two outfits that I'm really proud of.

...I went to two great sewing/blogger meetups - MPB Day in NYC

and the Birmingham blogger meet up. Best fun ever.

I'm not sure if I have any specific resolutions or goals for 2013. 2012 was pretty good and I guess I would just like more of the same, please!

  3. That's neat that you made equal amounts of both knitting and sewing. I'm king of hoping that my 2013 project list will end up the same way. Plus, I'm hoping to establish some TNT's of my own as well. Thanks for sharing!
