...Now that I have filled the cracks and repainted the ceiling and woodwork, the proper decorator is coming tomorrow to hang the wallpaper...
..That should mean I have time to sew now, except I decided to make the new curtains. It will be boring sewing but soooooo much cheaper than buying ready-made curtains...
...I bought a gorgeous skein of Titus yarn from the Knitting Goddess as a little reward for all my hard work.
It is so strokeable and the colours are luscious...

...I got the Labour of Love knitting book for Mother's Day (it was on my Amazon wishlist) so I have bought a little more yarn to make some sweaters for DD. Someone please hide my credit card...
...Cake patterns 2nd release is here and the Pavlova sewalong starts tomorrow. Over on the Flickr group, I am in Team Kiwi. I have a lovely grey jersey for the wrap top but just cannot decide what fabric to sew my circle skirt...
I've just bought yarn from the Knitting Goddess, it is lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, what yummy yarn! You totally deserved to treat yourself!
ReplyDeleteThat purple yarn! I love it. I looked through my closet this weekend and noticed I have a LOT of purple -- even purple shoes. Always a winning color with me. :)
ReplyDeleteWe just recently moved in to THE most precious home. Unfortunately, precious cones with a cost...the 1929 charmer has a ton of work and I just can't stop until its all done! Like you, my machines are just sitting on a newly made beautiful sewing table being unused. It's heart breaking! Good look with finishing your projects so you have time to play!!
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, decorating is such hard work. Isn't it. Love the yarn. I am just knitting another hat and scarf set as it does not look as though the weather is going to improve in the UK any time soon. Zora
