A little knit I finished a while back but forgot to post.
Pattern: Navona by Linda Wilgus of Woolly Mammoth Knits.
Yarn: Easyknits Twinkle 4 ply. I used Icicle for the main colour and Twilight Delight for the lovely orange and purple contrast stripes. I used two 100g skeins of the main colour and about half a skein of the contrast colour for a size 36 bust.
I love how the variegated stripes are quite balanced across the front of the cardigan. This was pure luck!
The cardigan is knitted top down, all in one piece. It actually works up pretty fast for a 4ply adult sized cardigan. Firstly its knit on 3.75mm needles to create a lovely drapey fabric. And secondly knitting stripes is addictive as you want to just keep going to the next one!
I wore this quite a lot before the hot spell hit. It is light enough for those cooler summer days and will get tons of wear as we start to head into Autumn here.
