something similar last year without the waistband section, but I sometimes feel the Colette bodice is sitting a little too high so I decided to rectify it this time). I used the Tiramisu skirt pieces because of the stripe matching lines which helped me to create a lovely chevron effect at the centre front of the skirt.
I managed to get a decent pattern match going on around the princess seamed bodice, and to centre the pattern repeat on the bodice and the waistband - score!
My fabric is possibly a little heavy - I will have to see if it softens up after a few washes. But I do love the fifties inspired style. It makes me feel dressed up but not overdressed.
